Alex Iwobi was impressive as Fulham emerged victorious with a 3-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers during matchday 13 of the Premier League at Craven Cottage on Monday.
The Nigerian international played a pivotal role in the dramatic encounter by scoring one of the goals for the Cottagers.
The home side drew the first blood in the 7th minute with Alex Iwobi, skillfully slotted the ball into the net from Antonee Robinson’s precise pass.
The former Arsenal man had another chance to secure a two-goal lead in the 69th minute, but his attempt was thwarted by a remarkable save from Wolverhampton’s goalkeeper, José Sá.
Iwobi, has made nine appearances for Marco Silva’s squad in the current Premier League season, boasts one goal involvement.
His national teammate, Calvin Bassey also saw action for 90 minutes, contributing 75 passes and 2 blocks.
