Chinese club Tianjin TEDA have demoted Nigerian striker Brown Ideye to their second team to make way for new recruit Frank Acheampong according to reports.
Acheampong joined the Chinese side on loan from Belgium outfit Anderlecht.
Ideye, who joined the CSL outfit in February for €12 million has two years left on his current contract.
However, his future largely depends on the output of Frank Acheampong per ghanasoccernet.
The Nigerian has managed only four goals in 14 appearances, with the club hovering just four points above relegation.
