Coach Fatai Osho faces increasing pressure to retain his position with Akwa United, after yet another defeat in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Osho has been under immense pressure after a sluggish start to the campaign that saw the Promise Keepers win one of their opening seven matches.
Osho’s woe was compounded a 1-0 defeat to Doma United at the Pantami Township Stadium on Saturday.
Nelson Abiam scored the winning goal and send Akwa United to the bottom of three with just seven points from eight matches.
The defeat amplified concerns about the team’s performance underOsho’s leadership.
Following the victory, Doma United however are now unbeaten in their last three NPFL games and moved to seventh position on the NPFL table with 11 points from seven games.
