Zimbabwe’s head coach, Baltemar Brito insists he has picked the best players for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Nigeria.

Brito, who was assistant to Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, also unveiled a provisional squad of 28 players for these matches on Wednesday.

“I’m happy with the team and I’m happy with my decision to assemble this talented group of players that will represent Zimbabwe in the world cup qualifiers,” the Brazilian was quoted by Zimbabwe Football Association official website.

“I did analysis on each one of them, they are exceptional players and are valuable assets to the team.”

The Warriors are set to take on the Amavubi and Super Eagles on November 15 and 20, respectively.
