Super Falcons forward, Rinsola Babajide anticipates a stronger and improved performance from the team when they face Ethiopia in the 2024 Olympics qualifiers this Tuesday.
The initial encounter in Addis Ababa concluded in a 1-1 draw, and it was a subpar performance from the Super Falcons.
Ahead of the second-leg in Abuja, Babajide, who earned her first cap for Nigeria in Addis Ababa said:
“Everyone expected more from the first match; we’re aware we didn’t perform at our best.
“We should have secured a victory, but circumstances made it challenging. Now, playing at home in front of our fans, we hold the advantage.
“We must put in extra effort, score goals, and most importantly, secure the victory on the day.”
