Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is not ruling possibility of selling Victor Osimhen if both parties failed agree contract extension.
Osimhen has contract until 2025, and talks over an extension hasn’t yield result.
Aurelio De Laurentiis, in a chat journalists at Castel Volturno on Thursday explained the situation with the striker.
“I have never been unserene towards Osimhen, but there are always two of us in these things: I I remained the same, if his mood has changed I can’t do anything about it.”
“If after a handshake (we’re talking about renewal talks, ed.) things change, it’s disappointing, we take note of it but then life goes on.
“There are excellent relations with him, the contract expires in 2025, there is time. Don’t forget that I sold Koulibaly at the last minute.” He concluded.
The Nigerian international has scored a total of 65 goals and 15 assists in 111 games for Napoli.
The 24-year-old played a crucial role as the club win its first Serie A title in 32 years last season.
