Winger, Samuel Chukwueze will spend few weeks on the sideline due to an injury
According to Italian tabloid, Corriere dello Sport, Chukwueze could miss four weeks of action after sustaining a hamstring injury while on national duty with Nigeria.
The AC Milan player was involved in Nigeria’s friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in Portugal, but returned to the club injured.
He has since started his recuperation and won’t be available for selection until November.
It is now unclear if the forward will be available for Nigeria’s FIFA World Cup qualification opener against Lesotho billed for November 13th.
He is the latest player who could now miss the November international window after Victor Osimhen who injured his biceps femoris muscle in the right thigh.
