Premier League side Newcastle United is interested in forward Victor Boniface.
His performance has been impressive, and the club’s scouts even watched him play for Nigeria against Saudi Arabia last Friday.
Newcastle is said to be one of the clubs that sent their scouts to watch the 22-year-old as Eddie Howe sees him as a valuable addition to the team for his physicality and the ability to complement other forwards.
If the Magpies are considering a move for him, it could be an interesting addition to their squad that already has the likes of Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson.
Boniface joined Bayer Leverkusen last summer on a four-and-half year contract with the Xabi Alonso’s side.
