Enzo Maresca, is ruling out an exit for Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho in the January transfer window.
Iheanacho and Ndidi enter the final six months of their contracts, and the Foxes could watch them leave for free if no new deals are agreed.
Clubs like Inter Milan and Barcelona have been credited with interests in the Nigerian internationals, as they’ll be free to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs in January.
Despite the situation, the Leicester City manager says the club won’t be forced to cash in on the players, saying they are valuable players for the team.
“These players’ futures will be resolved in no time,” Maresca replied when asked about the Nigerian duo.
“They are key players and we will see what happens in January but I don’t see them (Ndidi and Iheanacho) leaving except for international duty,” He said.
So far, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are enjoying life under Maresca at the King Power Stadium.
