Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi is on track for a return to action for Nottingham Forest.

Awoniyi was spotted working on the grass, indicating progress in his recovery from injury.

The former Union Berlin’s forward missed Nottingham Forest’s last Premier League game at Crystal Palace and just concluded October’s international window with Nigeria.

His absence due to injury has been a setback for the team, especially given his excellent performance at the beginning of the 2023/24 season.

His presence is important for Nottingham Forest, and Steve Cooper will be eager to have him back in action as soon as possible.
