Rudi Garcia has reacted to the current face-off between star player Victor Osimhen and club.

Osimhen was mocked by the club’s social media staffs following his penalty miss at Bologna.

The club’s posted two videos on TikTok, with one of the them referring to the forward as coconut.

In the aftermath, the Nigerian’s agent Roberto Calenda however threatened to take legal action against the club, before the 24-year-old deleted all Napoli related photos from his Instagram account.

Speaking after the game against Udinese, Garcia was asked if he had discussed the issues with Osimhen, who scored in the 4-1 win.

“In Bologna we were all frustrated at not winning and he was even more after missing a penalty, so that can happen. We cleared the air, it all went back to normal,” Rudi Garcia tried assured.

“Over the last two days there was a bit of trouble with some clumsy behavior. Nobody wanted to be hurtful, not the TikTok with the video of Victor, nor Victor by taking his photographs down on social media.

“Nobody intended to hurt anyone, these are instinctive reactions and are understandable.

“It is his social media account, he can do what he wants with it. All I can say is that he loves this jersey and will give everything for Napoli this season as well,” He concluded.
