Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen could take legal action against Napoli after the club mocked the on social media.
A video mocking and calling the striker coconut was posted on the club’s official TikTok profile on Tuesday, further igniting tension between both parties.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted”.
“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news”.
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor”. The player’s agent Roberto Calenda, said in a statement.
Osimhen has been in the news for the wrong reasons in the last 48 hours after Napoli’s draw at Bologna on Sunday.
The forward was seen shouting at head coach Rudi Garcia after he was substituted, but he has since apologized for the behavior.
