Striker Kelechi Iheanacho is focused on Leicester City’s promotion chase and ignoring all transfer speculations.
The forward has less than one year left on his contract with the Foxes, and both parties have been silent on extension.
The Nigerian international will be free to sign a pre contract with any club.
Speaking with the media on his future, Nigerian International insists that the club promotion remained his priority.
“When you have less time left at the football club, a year or two, there are speculations and rumours that you want to stay or you want to leave and all that.
“I like Leicester City, it’s a good place, a good football club and I’ve been here for a few years now.
“We went down, it’s not ideal but we’re here now and we’re fighting to get back up.
“I’m here focusing on my football with Leicester City and hopefully we get back up and everyone will be happy”, he stated.
