Wilfred Ndidi is pleased with Leicester City’s win over Bristol City, but warned that the job is far from completed.

The Foxes returned to the top of the Championship table with a 1-0 win over the visitors at King Power Stadium.

Ndidi was instrumental in the game as he won the penalty scored by Jamie Vardy.

” It was a good one and important that we got the win,” Ndidi told the club’s official website.

“Very, very important. It’s a good weekend for us. It’s been a brilliant start. There’s more games to go so we’ll look to the next one.”

Leicester City sits top of the Championship table with seven wins from eight so far and are now one of the strongest candidates for promotion.

“It’s a long season so we need everybody in the team.

” The Manager wants everyone to be ready. Anyone who goes on the pitch has to give 100 per cent, so as a team, we understand the philosophy. We understand it’s a long season and we’re all ready for it.”

Enzo Maresca’s side will return to action on Wednesday, against Liverpool in the EFL Cup.
