Despite his blistering start to life in German Bundesliga, Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is not resting on his oars and want to achieve more.
Boniface on Sunday broke 29-year-old record for the most shots on goal after five rounds of games during Leverkusen win over German Bundesliga.
The 22-year-old completed impressive 26 shot on target to beat the record set by Uwe Wegmann, Bochum during the 1994/1995 season.
Speaking with the press after the game, Boniface said:
“If you have 38 shots on goal as a player, you should have scored at least 25 goals. So I don’t want to congratulate myself on that.”
Boniface has netted a total of 8 goals across all competitions for the Black and Reds this season.
