Coach Kabiru Dogo is confident Nasarawa United’s title ambition is still on course after his side secured a 1-0 away win against Sunshine Stars on Sunday.

Nasarawa United beat struggling Sunshine in Ijebu Ode, but the win still leaves them 10 points behind league leaders, Plateau United.

Sitting just above the top half of the table, in 9th spot, Nasarawa United require a run of good form to keep the title chase within sight, and Dogo admits.

“The league is still open for everyone, no team has yet been declared winner and with a good result as this and some more wins away, we can also fight for the title,” the Coach said.
