Striker Victor Boniface continued his blistering run of form for Bayer Leverkusen, netting a brace in their 4-1 over Heidenheim at the BayArena on Sunday.

Boniface has now scored three braces since joining Xabi Alonso’s side in the summer transfer window.

The forward also has three assists and two player of the month awards for Die Werkself this season.

In total, the 22-year-old has scored eight goals across all competitions.

With the latest brace, the Nigerian is now the third highest goal scorer in the Bundesliga this season behind Serhou Guirassy and Harry Kane.
