Nigerian Table Tennis star, Aruna Quadri has moved up two spots in the latest ITTF global rankings.
In the rankings released on Friday, Quadri, previously ranked 18th and is now number 16 in the Men’s singles category.
The improvement was aided by his recent triumph in Tunisia where he defended his African title.The Olympic games quarter-finalist outclassed Egypt’s Ahmed Saleh in the final to claim his third African title.
Aruna Quadri 11-2, 12-10, 11-6, 11-6 to lift the top prize which guarantees another spot for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The 33-year-old remains number one in Africa, followed by Egyptian duo of Omar Assar and Ahmed Saleh.
