Ademola Lookman netted his first goal of the season for Atalanta in the league match against Fiorentina, on Sunday.

Despite Lookman’s goal, Atalanta ultimately fell short, suffering a 3-2 defeat.

Playing on the road, Atalanta took the lead in the 20th minute thanks to a striking effort from Garcia Koopmeniers.

However, their advantage was short-lived as Giorgio Bonaventura found the back of the net in the 38th minute, leveling the score.

Just before halftime, Martinez Quata put Fiorentina in the lead, ensuring a 2-1 advantage for the home team.

However, Lookman rose to the occasion and equalized in the 53rd minute, but moments later he was substituted.

Fiorentina then secured the win in the 76th minute through Christian Kouame.

Despite the loss, Lookman’s goal served as a positive for Atalanta and highlighted his contribution to the team this season.
