Super Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie has announced her retirement from football.
The forward made the announcement, Wednesday, and decided to focus on other endeavors.
Her statement read:
“To my fans, family, and friends, thank you for the show of love and support over the years. It’s time to take a bow, as I believe there’s no better time than now.
I’m officially announcing my retirement from professional football for both club and country.”
The experienced Forward enjoyed numerous big moments, including the 2016 WAFCON winner against Cameroon in Yaounde.
Oparanozie also scored in the final of the 2010, 2014 and 2016 AWCON tournaments all won by the Super Falcons.
