Super Eagles’ camp for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe has been rescheduled to open on Wednesday, in Uyo.
The camp planned to open this Monday, but the players have been given two days off and are expected to start arriving in the country tonight.
A list 23 players was announced by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Sunday.
Nigeria will host Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday, September 10, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Despite securing their spot in next year’s Cup of Nations, the Super Eagles (12pts) need at least a point to secure the top position in the group.
Guinea Bissau, who are in second place with 10 points, will be playing at home against Sierra Leone in Bissau.
