Super Eagles Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, has joined Italian Serie A side, Udinese from Watford FC.

Okoye has joined Udinese on a 4-year deal, bringing an end to his turbulent time with the Hornets.

His move from Watford was confirmed, Friday morning, and was unveiled almost immediately.​

The goalkeeper becomes the latest Nigerian player to sign for both club sides after Odion Ighalo, William Troost-Ekong and Isaac Success.

Okoye joined Watford from Sparta Rotterdam in 2022, but only managed to make just three appearance for the English side.

The 23-year-old made an appearance each in the Championship, FA and League Cup.
