Super Falcons midfielder, Christy Ucheibe has been recognized for her performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Ucheibe was impressive at the just concluded FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The Super Falcons exited the tournamrnt in the last-16 stage, but Midfielder’s contributions on the field were noteworthy.​

She was named among the best tacklers at the tournament; the only African on the list published by FIFA via its social media handle.

Her sixth-place ranking among the best tacklers is laudable, considering the level of competition.

Coach Randy Waldrum will be banking on the player to repeat the feat when the Olympics qualifiers get on the way.​
