Akor Adams had a debut to remember as he scored twice for Montpellier in the French Ligue 1 this Sunday.

Adams, 23, single handedly earned his team a point with a brace against La Havre.

The Forward, who arrived from Lillestrøm in the current window, drew his side level in the 58th minute with a magnificent header from six yards.

He completed his brace six minutes later, shrugging off two defenders before unleashing a low drive that ended in the back of the net.

However, he was replaced in the 77th minute and was given a standing ovation by the home fans.​

Elsewhere, Moses Simon’s team, Nantes, suffered a home defeat to Toulouse with the Nigerian playing for 68 minutes.
