Kelechi Iheanacho is excited to open his goal account for the season for Leicester City.

After starting the campaign with a 2-1 Coventry City last weekend, the Foxes followed it up with a 2-0 success at Burton on Wednesday.

Iheanacho was instrumental in the victory as he scored and assisted the second scored by compatriot Wilfred Ndidi.

Speaking with the Club’s website, ahead of time against Huddersfield, the forward said:

“It’s a great feeling to score my first goal of the season. I wasn’t expecting the ball, so it was nice to see it go into the bottom corner, and hopefully there’s more goals to come.”

The Nigerian’s determination to score more goals for Leicester City this season is evident from his recent performance during the Carabao Cup match against Burton Albion.

His back-heeled goal and being named Man of the Match reflect his dedication and training in finishing techniques.
