We don’t need you anymore — Adana Demirspor tells Onyekuru

Henry Onyekuru could be on his way out of Adana Demirspor a few weeks after joining on permanent deal from Olympiakos of Greece.

The Club’s President, Murat Sancak stated that Onyekuru is on his way out of the club, with the club expecting a final offer from an interested team.

Turkish media outlet Haberkolig claimed all is not well between the forward and the club, the reason the relationship is coming to a sudden end.

Onyekuru was later left out of the club’sEuropean squad.

“Onyekuru will most likely not be with us. A final offer will come today; we will evaluate it accordingly. He will most likely go, in fact, we don’t need him right now.” Murat  Sanak said.

Onyekuru joined the club on loan last season, and was impressive, forcing the club to activate their option to make the deal permanent.

The Super Eagles forward scored eight goals and provided three assists in twenty-eight matches as the club finished fourth in the league.

Adana Demirspor paid €3m to sign the former Galatasaray, Everton, Monaco and Eupen forward.
