Italian Serie A side Atalanta is considering signing Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis.
Atalanta, according to reports, will hold talks with the Tricky Tee for the striker who is surplus to requirements at the City Ground.
Dennis is considered as suitable replacement for Danish star Rasmus Højlund who recently left Atalanta to join Manchester United.
Dennis might be interested in the move as he’s yet to settle since making his £20m switch to Nottingham Forest last summer from Watford.
The 24-year-old struggled for game time last season, currently third choice forward.
Also Dennis might draw inspiration from Ademola Lookman who has been transformed since joining Atalanta after difficult spells with Everton, Fulham and Leicester City.
Lookman made instant impact at Atalanta last season, scoring 15 goals and provided eight assists in Serie A and the Italian Cup.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest will face a shortage of strikers, should Dennis made the move, leaving Taiwo Awoniyi as the only recognized striker.
Dennis has a decent record with 12 goals and nine assists in 62 appearances in the English Premier League.
