Ajibade missed Nigeria’s opener against Canada due to the red card she received in the semi-final of the last Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

 

Having served the suspension, the player is happy to be available again, and could get a starter’s shirt agaginst the Matildas this Thursday at Lang Park.

“I’m excited to return, it wasn’t easy sitting out of the first game, but they team did well,” the Player told NFF TV.

“It shows every player is valuable to this team and ready to the work. The team welcomed me back, and I’ll surely give my 100% percent.” She told NFF TV.
