2023 Women’s World Cup: One for the Fans — Debbie Larry-Izamoje

The Chief Operating Officer of Brila Media, Debbie Larry-Izamoje has called on football fans across the country to come in full support of the Super Falcons, as the team begins its campaign at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

“Fans support goes a long way in football,” the Media Executive said.

“There is no football without the fans, and so I’m calling on all football fans to step up to show love to these ladies if you can’t make it – because I hear the price of the ticket to Australia is quite expensive – , and we know what is happening now. What I want to tell fans is to engage with them on social media.

” Brila is doing a whole lot, and like I always say, we are not just a radio station, we are a full-fledged sports media hub.

“So, engage with content on digital, send love to these ladies, follow them on their social media pages, send them messages, wear their jerseys, wear the Super Falcons jerseys, those colours are very lovely.

“Know their numbers, their faces; because you can’t say you’re supporting a team and you don’t know the names of the people on the team.

“Also Know the names of these ladies because this is history, like we are literally watching stories that we are going to tell our kids and I’m so excited that Brila is at the forefront of this conversation.”

The Super Falcons are set to begin their campaign at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup when they play against Olympic champions, Canada.
