Turkish Super Lig giants, Besiktas, are said to be closing in on Cremonese forward, David Okereke.

Okereke is available for transfer following Cremonese’s relegation to the Serie B.

Serie A side Cagliari and Empoli have also been rumored to be in race for his signature.

According to reports from Turkey, Besiktas are leading the race to land the Striker.​

The White and Black have made contact with Cremonese to sign the Nigerian and they are confident the club will accept their bid.

David Okereke scored seven goals in 29 league matches last season.

The 25-year-old joined Cremonese from the Belgian Pro League side, KAA Gent last summer.
