Boboye is ready to return to management after spending the last twelve months on sabbatical. The former Lobi Stars and Akwa United boss recently completed a coaching program in Europe. According to reports, the discussions about a contract is advancing well, and a deal could be sealed by the end of the week. Plateau United is a familiar territory for the Coach as he won the league with them in 2017. Kennedy Boboye has not managed since 2021 after he was sacked Akwa United.
