Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has been shortlisted for the prestigious Balon D’or Sokrates Award.

The award organizers, French Football Magazine on Friday reveals the nominees for the award.

Oshoala will battle Vinicius Jnr. (Brazil/ Real Madrid), Antonio Rudiger (Germany/Real Madrid), Marcus Rashford (England/Manchester United), and Alex Morgan (USA/San Diego Wave) for the
award.

The Socrates award was created in 2022 to immortalize late Brazil football legend, Socrates, and to honor footballers with huge contributions to society.

Senegal forward Sadio Mane won the award last year.
