Kanu stated this shortly before the team departed Abuja for a 15-day camping exercise in Australia.
The nine-time African Champions will face Australia, Canada and Republic of Ireland in Group B.
“We’ve seen the group and it’s gonna be hard, but we are mentally prepared and moving forward. I think we have a good team. We’re gonna do great,” she said.
Meanwhile on Sunday, first batch of Nigeria women’s players left the country on business class tickets for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, in Australia and New Zealand.
A second batch of four players are expected to depart Abuja on Monday (today).
