Tobi Amusan returned to winning way by clinching victory at the Women’s 100m Hurdles event at the Stockholm Diamond League on Sunday.

Amusan, the world record holder, had lost to Jasmine Camacho-Quinn in Ostrava’s golden spike and the first diamond league race in Lausanne.

The 26-year-old however raced to victory in Stockholm returning in a time of 12.52s (0.9) to record her first victory on the tour this season.

The commonwealth Champion beat Sarah Lavin, who clocked a Personal Best (PB) of 12.73s, for second and Pia Skrzyszowska in 12.78s in third place.

The victory certainly will put her in good position ahead of this year’s national trials in Benin City to select Nigeria’s representatives to the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary in August.
