Defender Ebube Duru is open to signing a new deal with former Nigeria Football League Champions, Rivers United.
The player’s current deal will expire at the end of the season, and he has been contacted by various clubs.
The left back is however keen on staying with Rivers United, if the salary is right.
Rivers United will meet with the player’s
management in the coming days to discuss about the new deal.
Duru joined Rivers United from Lobi Stars two years ago and helped them win the League title two seasons ago.
He was rewarded for his fine run of form with an invitation to the Super Eagles squad for the last Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
Duru however is yet to make his debut for the Jose Peseiro’s side.
