Akwa United and Nigeria U23 national team defender Anthony Chukwuebuka has apologized for Nigeria’s absence at the ongoing CAF Africa U23 AFCON following the commencement of the competition in Morocco over the weekend which will also serve as qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Chukwuebuka speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said it is painful missing out on the competition and hopes those coming next behind them for the next U23 national team are able to offer better representation and qualify for the next tournament and Olympics proper.
