Federation Cup holders Bendel Insurance will offer head coach, Monday Odigie a new contract, according to sources at the Club.

Odigie led the Insurance to the topflight division and the team has made significant progress under his watch since then.

They were unbeaten in the regular campaign last season, playing 18 matches without losing a game.​

The unbeaten run eventually ended during the Super six, but the team bounced back to win the Federation Cup by beating Rangers in
the final.

The team eventually qualified for the CAF Confederations Cup next season.

In order to ensure continuity, the management have now offered the coach a new deal, with improved salary.​

The two parties are close to reaching an agreement on a new contract.
