Former Nigeria U-20 striker, Muhamed Tijani says he’s ready for the challenge after signing for Slavia Prague.
Tijani on Wednesday completed his move to Slavia Prague from Banik Ostrava following impressive seasons with the Czech Republic.
The 22-year-old will replace Peter Olayinka, who left the club for Croatia after the expiration of his contract.
Olayinka was a hero at the club, winning numerous titles during his five year stay and Eden Arena and scored 50 goals, providing 26 assists in 182 appearances.
“I am thrilled by this opportunity. Joining Slavia is precisely the kind of challenge I sought after. I eagerly anticipate the European matches and the support of the fans.
“My aspiration is to become the top scorer in the league one day.
“Olayinka has undoubtedly been an inspiration, not only to me but to other Nigerian footballers. I aspire to achieve a similar level of success in the future.”
Mohamed Tijani has endured a series of loan spells at Trinec, Karvina, and Taborsko all in the Czech Republic.
The Forward scored 11 goals in the league and one in the cup last season.
