Napoli meets Osimhen Over New Contract and Possible Sale

Napoli are still trying to find an agreement with Victor Osimhen over a new contract.

Italian transfer expert, Gianluca Dimarzio claims nothing has been signed at the moment, despite media reports suggesting that Osimhen has penned a new two-year deal.

The Nigerian has less than two years left on his current deal, but the club is keen on extending the Forward’s contract.

Napoli’s President, Aurelio De Laurentiis is expected to meet with the Nigerian’s agent, Roberto Calenda, to discuss the Player’s future.

Meanwhile, new Napoli boss Rudi Garcia wants the 24 year-old Nigerian to stay at the club, and will be counting on him for next season.

Victor Osimhen by far was Napoli’s best player in Serie A last season, netting 26 goals on their way to clinching the Serie A title.

The future of the Nigerian attacker, however, is still uncertain with Manchester United and Chelsea said to be interested in his services.
