Super Eagles head Coach, Jose Peseiro has refused to confirm if he’ll prosecute the last 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying match with fringe players.

Peseiro’s has secured Nigeria’s passage to next year’s Cup of Nations – and with a game to spare – following hard fought 3-2 win over Sierra Leone in Monrovia on Sunday.

The qualification however means the last group game against bottom placed Sao Tome and Principe is a dead rubber.

On whether he will make changes to his squad for the game, Peseiro said:

“If I change the team every time it will be difficult to create good organisation. We prepared for this game only five days, and I needed to choose the right players.

“But the door of the Super Eagles is open for every body,“ He said after Sunday’s game in Monrovia.
