Rofiat Imuran has expressed her delight with being listed in Nigeria’s squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Imuran, who enjoyed a good debut season with French side Stade de Reims, is one of the 23 players selected by head Coach Randy Waldrum for the tournament.
She Tweeted her reaction to the selection, Friday, after the announcement by the NFF.
“It’s really really a great honour and privilege to have been named as part of the Super Falcons team going to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. I promise to continue giving my all to the shirt.”
