Finidi George is back with the Super Eagles ahead of this weekend’s 2023 CAF African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone.

Finidi was absent during Super Eagles last outings against Guinea-Bissau, further fueling rumors that he and his former teammate Ike Shorunmu had been disengaged by the Federation.

The Enyimba’ gaffer however was spotted with the team on Tuesday, 48 hours after guiding Enyimba to their ninth league crown.

Barring any last minute changes, he is expected to be on bench for the weekend’s game against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.

Meanwhile Ike Shorunmu, the goalkeeper trainer was no where to be found.

The Super Eagles will face Sierra Leone in Monrovia on Sunday.
