Rivers United Goalkeeper, Victor Sochima says the team will do everything possible to retain their NPFL title.
This Sunday, Rivers United go into the final Super 6 game against Enyimba with everything to play for.
Both clubs are neck to neck in the race for the title with eight points each from four matches, although Enyimba sits on top of the table, thanks to a better goal difference.
The Aba Elephants have scored seven goals and conceded three, while Rivers United netted five goals and conceded three as well.
An outright win over the eight time Champions will ensure Stanley Eguma’s side retain the league title, and Sochima is confident they can do it.
“We are looking forward to victory, any game against Enyimba is a big game. Come on Sunday we are going to finish the job we started.
“Our target is to top the table and retain our trophy and we are on course for that, so on Sunday we will do it,” he said.
The match will kick off 4pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena this Sunday.
