Enyimba head Coach, Finidi George believes teams are struggling with fatigue, and it’s one of the reasons for many stalemates recorded at the ongoing NPFL Super 6.

The 8-time NPFL Champions, Enyimba, have played three games (W1, D2), including Wednesday’s draw against Bendel Insurance.

Other fixtures between Lobi Stars and Rivers United, along with Remo Stars against Sunshine Stars also ended in a draw.

With round four of the Super 6 scheduled for Friday, it means each team would have played four games in six days.

“When you play with 24 hours in between and all games at 2pm, it’s really energy sapping, so, we have to get our boys back to full fitness ahead of the two crucial games ahead.”

“It’s unfortunate we didn’t take the three points against Bendel Insurance, but we had a good performance.

“I’m quite disappointed we didn’t win because we could have won it,” Finidi said after the game.

Enyimba will face Sunshine Stars next, and round off their campaign against Rivers United on Sunday.
