Bendel Insurance head coach, Monday Odigie, is disappointed with his team after their 1-1 draw against Enyimba at the ongoing Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs.
Bendel Insurance are yet to win a game in the Super six after three round of matches.
The Benin Arsenal were forced to yet another draw against Enyimba on Wednesday.
Sodiq Abubakar put Enyimba in front in the first half before midfielder Divine Nwachukwu equalised to end the encounter in a 1-1 draw.
The results means they must win their remaining matches, and hope for a favour elsewhere, if they are to be crowned Champions.
“We wasted many big chances during the game,
“Enyimba is a great side with great players and you can see that today, but I think, the result should have been different.
“It’s a big disappointment, because we should have won the game with the chances we created, especially in the first half.
“That being said, we have to make.most of the remaining games, it’s not over.” He said after the game.
Despite the disappointing result, Bendel Insurance’s 21-match unbeaten run in the NPL this season.
