Super Eagles boss Jose Peseiro was full of praises for the Flying Eagles of Nigeria following an excellent performance against Argentina on Wednesday.

The Flying knocked the hosts and favorites Argentina out of the tournament, recording a 2-0 win in San Juan.

The Ladan Bosso tutored were tactically discipline all through the game and deservedly through to the quarter final.

Ibrahim Muhammad and Haliru Sarki got the goals in the closely contested game.

“Brilliant game today, Proud of our U20 team who fought valiantly and emerged victorious against Argentina.”

“This is a testament to their determination, skill, and the spirit of Nigerian football. Onward to the quarter-finals” Peseiro said after the game.

The Flying Eagles will take on the winner of the Ecuador vs South Korea tie in the quarters.
