The round of 16 draw of the FIFA U20 World Cup has been made and the Flying Eagles of Nigeria will play against the host nation, Argentina, as a reward for finishing third in Group D behind Brazil and Italy.

Nigeria had the chance to finish top of the group had they avoided a defeat to Brazil, but the 2-nil loss to the South Americans meant that Ladan Bosso’s side finished third on goal difference despite claiming six points.

The hosts have been relentless in this tournament, and are on a 100 percent record, scoring 10 goals and only conceding one in their 3 group matches.

Gambia on the other hand finished top of their group with seven points and will face Uruguay, while Tunisia has been drawn against Brazil.

Senegal, who are African Champions, are the only team from CAF, to not make it beyond the group stage.
