Kelechi Iheanacho put in another great shift for Leicester City as they move out of the drop zone following the 1-1 outcome against fellow relegation threatened Leeds United.

Fresh from leading the Foxes to victory over Wolves over the weekend, the Nigerian continued from where he left as he delivered a complete performance for Dean Smith’s side.

Leicester fell behind at Elland Road after 23 minutes, with a goal from Colombian winger Luis Sinisterra.

Iheanacho led the hunt for an equalizer for Leicester, who desperately need every point to stay up in the Premier League.

The Nigerian was twice denied the equalizer by Illan Meslier in goal for Leeds United.

The Foxes then had their best chance of the game when Kelechi Iheanacho retrieved a ball from the byline and squared to Barnes who curled over from a good position.

With 20 minutes to go Iheanacho and Zambian forward, Patson Daka again forced the Leeds goalkeeper into a superb double save.

Iheanacho started the move for Leicester’s equalizer, skipping past two challenges before picking out James Madison who set up Jamie Vardy for a deserved equaliser.

After the game Sky sports scored the Nigerian high with a 7.5 rating, the best Leicester City player on the pitch.
