Oshoala, Oparanozie and 18 others train in Antalya, Turkey ahead of Haiti and New Zealand

Strikers Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie have arrived Super Falcons camp in Antalya, Turkey for friendlies against Haiti and New Zealand.

The attacking duo arrived along with nine others this Wednesday afternoon to take the players in camp to 20.

The players in camp are : Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, Gift Monday, Asisat Oshoala, Ngozi Okobi, Toni Payne, Christy Uchiebe and Rasheedat Ajibade.

Others are: Yewande Balogun, Regina Otu, Esther Okoronkwo, Onome Ebi,  Etim Inyene, Abiodun Deborah, Halimatu Ayinde, Vivian Ikechukwu, Glory Ogbonna.  

US based quartet – Ifeoma Onumonu, Michelle Alozie, Jennifer Onyi Echegini, Uchenna Kanu and Osinachi Ohale are expected to arrive later today or tomorrow.

The training tour is part of the preparations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.

The Super Falcons have been drawn against Australia, Canada and the Republic of Ireland for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
