Bazuaye berates NFF’s handling of Finidi, Shorunmu’s saga

Former Nigeria international Baldwin Bazuaye has berated the Nigeria Football Federation’s handling of the George Finidi and Ike Shorunmu saga after the Football Federation explained the rotational cost cutting measure as well as the peculiar nature of goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorunmu who was asked not to report to camp again ahead of the upcoming two legged AFCON qualifiers against Guinea.

Bazuaye speaking in a chat with brila.net posited that Shorunmo’s request was very well within standard practice which is most times not in use by the Football Federation in Nigeria and one that should be completely jettisoned in Nigerian Football generally where coaches are unnecessarily victimized whenever they request to be treated or operate as Professionals.
